What is Ionic-Detox?
Its a fantastic new way to detoxify, rebalance and re-energise the body. Its an extremely pleasant experience that requires the feet to be immersed in tepid water for 30 minutes.

Why would I need the Ionic-Detox treatment?
For optimum health we need every major organ and every cell in our body to be in its state of natural balance and all working perfectly together. When our body is in balance it can deal with toxins and every day life efficiently.
However, toxins (caused by chemicals in food processing, alcohol, tobacco, medication, pollution and even toiletries etc), can accumulate and impair the body’s ability to function efficiently. This is when we get sick and we begin to suffer from disorders such as fatigue, skin problems, headaches, hormonal problems, arthritis etc…. this is when you will hear us use the term - Your body is out of balance.
How does the Ionic-Detox work?
The Ionic-Detox unit produces a bio-energetic frequency that gently resonates through the body, stimulating all the cells within. This starts a detoxification process, allowing the cells to release their build up of toxins some of which may have been stored for up to 20 years or more. When the body is detoxified and free of toxins, it regains its natural balance, thus enabling it to work more efficiently and therefore keep us in good health.
How are the treatments given?
You immerse your feet in warm water within the Ionic-Detox machine.
I will set the machine to the correct settings and ionisation levels
I will place a device called an array into the water
Then you sit back & relax for 30 minutes whilst the Ionic-Detox completes its cycle of treatment
The water will change colour and consistency, due only to the reaction of the array with elements in the water. The machine is not pulling out toxins through the soles of your feet, as other detox machines companies would suggest. In reality the ionic detox machine stimulates your own body’s mechanisms to detox and re-balance at its own pace, through normal elimination channels, during the following 4 – 6 hours.

How many treatments should I have?
Initially, 5 to 7 treatments are recommended, once or twice a week over a 3-4 week period. This provides a good initial detox and after this time it is entirely dependant upon how healthy (or unhealthy!) a client feels.
For those suffering from illness, the frequency of the treatments should be reduced as your body may go into healing mode, after each treatment. During this time you may feel tired and lethargic as the body uses its energy to heal itself. This is quite normal, and is sometimes followed by a feeling of increased energy.
